So i decided to trade in my 98 cw r today.




and buy a py. not my fave color, but it comes with jdm goodies and mugen parts. motor is all stock b18c with a toda header and my injen intake stays with me, apex n1 exhaust, t1r test pipe. heres a couple teasers. when i get enough time out of the jdm recaros ill take some more shots.

dont mind the front, there was no hood cable when i got in it, so the grille is out. also some riceball painted all the vents and ashtray yellow. f*ckin banana head.

interesting how it can have some nice jdm goodies, but then have the yellow painted interior parts and the blue R. ... good luck with the new caR though.

What do they go for? I was thinking of picking up the miracle x bar with the extra supports and calling it a day.

 

The blue part is the cage itself. the aluminum bars are the "support" bars, or whatever they're called. They have door bars as well. Look up threads made by "MooFX". He has the same cage with carbon fiber support bars.

Cage itself is like 600ish. extra bars are like 200ish each.

Keep in mind that that cage doesn't do **** for protection though.

i was thinking about a cusco 8pt and spraying it py. just because its a bolt in so if i got tired of using it for the track take it out

I saw it at lougheed acura two weeks ago because it wouldn't start.

BTW.. I bought your old written off ITR and rebuilt it.

 

The little blue accents work well with the car. I like how the side emblems have a blue R.

 

I think with the current mods, add in a Bomex kit and some more stickers and you'll give Dave B a run for ROTY 08.

im not sure the whole story yet, its still at the dealership being all checked out mechanically, they have to weld the pipe back on, put together interior parts, detail the **** out of it. i started it and drove it around a bit, but couldnt really get on it, as theres no exhaust really. had no idea it was at lougheed or that it wouldnt start. it looks as if it was turbod, some of the threads on the brackets are super clean like there was something bolted up to them, little weird **** like that. any info you have would be appreciated. im waiting for paperwork and carfax stuff. ill update you when i get it.

I always wondered what happened to my old car, it was such a shame. that car was absolutely mint, and super low k's. let me know what the story on her is, some pics would be appreciated.
