actually I don't really care about the motor, just tell me about the tranny. is it a LSD unit? what are the ratios?

It was in the JDM Accord SiR so I assume its got an LSD. You might need to check out some JDM sights to find the ratios. Or try Big James, he's packing one of those.

 

but the James is auto......

I'm pretty sure LSD was an option.

I had an idea yesterday that we should create an archive table of all the Accord engine and tranny specs, USDM, JDM, and EDM. That way we'd always have a reliable source for information to turn to.

 

Will will never come to an agreement on the specs.

gotta put a new tranny in my car, teh H22/H23 trannys have too deep a gearset, 5th gear will be at like 4000 rpms at 80mph. kills my fuel mileage, top speed, and revs the **** outta the motor all the time = bad.

yes we do, but the f22 ratios are crap, they are too tall and too long, you will be slow

 

H23 tranny isn't as bad as the H22...

 

so what, I'm already slow.

anyway just toss in the 4.026 fd from the 95 accord gearbox and call it a day
