Will my car pass Emissions with a bad IAC
i have a 92 civic si and every morning i turn it on i have bad idle up down up down no codes,i changed the thermostat already now am thinking its my IAC valve going out already will my car still pass SMOG like this??? or should i put a new IAC...

No, We have to be able to check the timing.
Have you cleaned the IACV out?
Just undo the two bolts. Don't disconnect the coolant hoses. Hold the IACV's motor up and the holes down and spray it out with some carb cleaner. Try to keep the spray away from the motor part of it.
Might just fix you up.
