water leak from bottom cover on driver side!

water leak from bottom cover on driver side!
I have a little problem with water leaking from what I think is the crank cover(it is plastic?!?!). The thing is its in between the bottom of the motor and the top side of the motor. Its just one little plastic piece that I can move with my finger. What is this and is this cover in two pieces or one whole piece?
