Check engine light after every car wash?

Default Check engine light after every car wash?

It seems as though after every car wash...... the following day my car has trouble starting and my check engine light comes on. After i reset it, everything is fine and drives normal. Anyone have this problem?

Stop spraying electrical connections - aka be more ******* careful when you're shooting high-pressure water at your hood.

run the CEL code error when it comes on next time..it will save u some time from guessing whats wrong with the car

Bingo, probably some mist/moisture getting in somewhere. Although I spray my engine bay and never had a problem, I am still careful.

A lot of the time it's people spraying UNDER their cars and hitting oxygen sensors that causes this kind of problem.

Yeah, I've seen that **** a lot of times, either that or they nail the ECT or dizzy through the grille.
