I have a 89 honda CRX with a 1st gen B16A, PR3 ecu, Hasport DX to SIR wiring harness and type R tranny. I did the swap, car started up ran pretty good,so i drove it around the block.Every time i come to a stop sign the car idle's allthe way down then cuts off. i got both o2 sensors wired up correctly. Car will idle when started and runs great while driving it. but stop lights it will cut off

What should fuel pressure be?
just replaced idle air control valve(did nothing)
someone help me!

 

Have you set the idle speed correctly?

Are there any CELs?

 

is the idle set too low? try adjusting the idle screw

 

perhaps a dirty throttle body?

 

yea..try raising the idle up a bit..see if it still chokes out..if it does then you have other issues..

 

Its an idle problem.. also check your vaccum lines for leaks.

 

man you guys were right. Thats all it was. I adjusted it a little and it fixed everything. Thanks for the advice guys. You saved me time and money.I can't believe i over looked that.
