Default Steering, poor returnability

I have a 98 accord coupe. almost 160,000km on it. I recently had the lower front ball joints replaced, and got an alignment done. When the wheel is a few centimeters off center it tends to stick and wont return. This happens on my 91 accord aswell but only in one direction. Could this be a symtom of bad tie rods, or maybe something more serious?
