Default PIC select vs apex

I have a 99 civic coupe and I would like to buy coilovers for it. Do you think that the selects are worth the extra 300, my car is my DD but I want a stiff setup for the back roads and occasional track or autox. What does 12/10k convert to in lbs.? Also where can I buy these from online?

12kg/mm = 672lbs/in
10kg/mm = 560lbs/in

They are really stiff. How often is occasional?

Occasional is at most once a month but I like to drive on back roads as often as I can 3-7 times a weak lol . Is there a big change in comfort and handling between the 12/10 and 10/8? What is the difference between the apex and selects?

There is a very noticeable difference in ride quality between the P3's and the P2's. Performance wise, it will depend on how you use them. If all the car will be doing is driving around on the street, you most likely will only notice a stiffer ride.

10k/8k is probably the stiffest id go if the car is daily driven... but youd really have to take a ride in a car with those spring rates for your own personal preferance... I have the 10k/8k and love them... but I know other people that say its too rough and dont really like it.
