my crx leaks most of its oil when its running. can anyone tell me where it might be leaking it from? Everthing below the car gets wet in oil, almost too the gas tank. I think its a seal but not sure which seals would leak when the car is moving.

There are so many places you could possibly be leaking from. But, if I had to guess: since you say ALL of the oil, I'm guessing it's an oil filter that isn't tightened down all the way.

Don't laugh, I've seen it happen to people who take their cars to Quicky-Lube type places before.

 

if u changed the oil filter did u make sure that the old seal came off with the old filter. ive seen it happen b4. and if not check and make sure the oil filter is tight and also check the valve cover gasket( it might be worn or cracked

X3...Yea kinda sounds like an oil filter problem...seen it happen too

 

It Was that it needed valve job and new piston rings
