I haven't really looked into it either, but wiring may be the biggest concern. Remember that the d17's come with coil packs instead of plug wires. (the reason why you are not getting a dizzy with the swap)

It can be done, but its too much trouble and not worth it.

-Mounts are different
-Runs on a very different wiring system
-Trannys are Cable
-Motors are sluggish. (Vtec-E)

Noone makes mounts to swap them, you would need the entire wiring system and ECU for it, and convert to cable shifter.
Who knows if it would run, and its not worth the time and effort for a motor that puts down solid 17+ sec 1/4 miles. I know it says 'D17', but theres almost nothing "D" about it, compared to bolt patterns and egnine parts from 92-00 D series motors.

Oh jeez no, lol this person is lying.
You cannot use your stock harness, the plugs are different, plus d17s dont have distributors, its all integrated into its wiring harness. The computer is different, and so are allot of things. Its just not worth the trouble, your much better off finding any 92-00 D-series motor to drop in, trust me on that.

Hydro, but with cable shift linkage like a K series instead of shift rods
