Few problems info appreciated.
Car: 1997 honda accord coupe
Engine: f22b2
Miles: 138,XXX
Transmission: Automatic
Well around 2 weeks go I noticed my transmission has been shifting rather hard. Say when I'm in a parking spot going from park to reverse there's a jolt and it makes a loud knock when it shifts from park to reverse. I don't really notice it when I go from neutral to first. I'm not sure at all of what this could be, low fluid or something. I've never beaten on my transmission, no neutral bombs, no nothing.
And another thing, my idle has been screwed up, i don't know how. I used to idle at 600 or so, now it seems no matter how long i drive my car, no matter how long i let it sit to warm up or whatever, it idles at 900+. I was thinking it could be the cold-start idle... but even when the car is fully warmed up it does it.
Thanks in advance for any help

To start with I would change the transmission fluid. (three times: 1- drain 2- fill 3- drive 4- repeat 2 more times)
Second of all check the sensors on the head just below the distributor. You have two coolant sensors. One is for the gauge and the other is for the ECU. If the one for the ecu isn't working it will keep the car in open loop with higher idle.
