Pics of EK Hatch With Rear Spoiler Removed

This might belong in the a/c section and I don't have a photo on me, but it looks weird. There is a metal base underneath the spoiler which has mounting holes in it and towards the right side there is a wire that comes out for the third brake light.
What are you trying to see here? If you're thinking it might look good without a spoiler, it won't. It doesn't look like it never had a spoiler if you remove it. The car is made to always have a spoiler.

Yeah, I got some detail from the parts breakdown pics on-line but they're rough at best.

Was hoping someone had snapped a pic of their car when they had it off for a swap or something. Pretty clear that it won't look good without it...

Four bolts and a wire? Sounds complicated.
I'm probably OK with the bolts, but that wire has got me all skittish.
Seriously though, don't I have to take the interior hatch panels off too, snapping little POS plastic clips and then worry about it leaking rain through the bolt holes after I take it off? I'm assuming the seal around those holes has turned to dust just like the tail light gaskets...

What? So none of the hardware actually goes completely through the hatch itself? You can take it off and everything is still sealed to rain??
I must've been lit
when I was looking at it before. Thanks, I'll take another look!

I think there are four bolt holes total that go through the panel that the hatch is made up of.
I think two go through above the seal and two go through below the seal. The ones that go through below the seal would be your issue.
Oh, and finally found a photo like you were asking for (without a spoiler). It still won't look right because the panel is all bumpy and has holes in it though. You'd need some sort of boot cap for it to look good.
Btw, this is an EK SQUAD car, thus why it looks so good. This particular car would look good with or without a spoiler.

Thanks for the pic. Wish my hatch looked that good, and even more impressive than the car is the freakin' garage it's in!
Man, I got a serious case of bay envy!

I think it'd leak without the spoiler capping over the holes. I wouldn't risk it. Anyway, it looks bad with just no spoiler. You need something on it or else it's going to look all lumpy. It's not smooth under the spoiler.

Yeah, I just took another look at this today and there are definately two holes that would leak into the interior if not sealed in some way.
Not sure how ICEDOWT managed to keep his car dry inside with those holes open, but I'm sure mine would get wet inside. Maybe he's got leaky taillights and just can't tell that some of the water is coming through those holes as well.
