Default newbie at turbos**

i have a completly stock jdm gsr with 90k miles on it im looking for a turbo kit im lookin for around 300hp its going in a eg coupe

im probably going have to rebuilt the block but what kinda turbo kit should i purchase im new at this sorryy

300w can be attained with a basic t3t4 you wont have to go overboard. i made 330 with my drag kit.

i did, but i grew into it, no you dont. i have seen 600 on stock sleeves.

get a 57 trim.... great for a stock gsr street car.. 60 trim is a lil big and will be a lil laggy

a 57 trim IS a t3/t4. and yes it can make 300hp. i would get a 50 trim for those kind of numbers.

Just remember you get what you pay for, stay away from Ebay/No Name turbochargers and shiny manifolds.

if you want a fun street car, get a 50 trim. You'll still make 300whp easily, but it will spool up a bit faster. If you want a mix of the 50 trim and the 57 trim as far as power and spool, let me know because that's where the GT3255 comes in....i run one on my 315whp DD

ok thanks for the info everybody but one more question how do you keep ur boosted car mantained and how does gas run on it while its boosted do you lose gas quicker or do you have to do a tune up every week or other week tell me how you maintain ur boost car

as long as have use quality parts and have a good tune, you shouldn't have any more maintenance than a stock car...
