Default Skunk2: Dual Valve springs

I'm in the process of getting my head cleaned and new seals put in it. My question is, should or would it be better to get Skunk2 dual valve springs (not the pro-series) in my stock 2gen B16a head? But re-use the factory retainers?

The reason i ask is, sometimes at the track i have shifted at 9000rpm and didn't mean too. I don't want to hurt the motor in any way.
Just more of a saftey precaution.

My setup is as follows,

B16a engine
wiseco 9-1 pistons
Eagle H-beam rods
T3/T04B 57 trim 63a/r
b16a tranny

You can use Skunk2 dual valve springs but it will probably have no effect on your setup. Such springs needed when reving to 10,000 and above and when used with more agreessive and longer duration cams. Plus they most likey to set you back approx $220 + shipping

hell no your stock valvetrain wont hold up on track use to 9 grand boosted. recommended shift point on B16's is 7,600. You keep spinning to 9 grand boosted and you will bend even maybe drop a valve. definitly get at least ITR valvetrain if not go aftermarket
