push start YES! ....starter NO!!??

Default push start YES! ....starter NO!!??

i just finish my b16a swap into my 1990 4 door ef....because of running out of $$ i got stuck wit the ls tranny now i have a few problems...the starter dosent crank the motor..but wen i push the car it starts...is ther diff size starters? the car use to be lsv...99 bottom 2000 b16 head ls cable tranny but the starter that came in the swap wen bad and i used a old 91 teg starter help me!! please...b4 1

Check for connection of starter cable. It is a big wire on positive terminal side.

If you stick a screwdriver in between the terminals on the starter will it turn over? is yes then check all your fuses and your clutch switch on the clutch pedal its self

Tap it with a hammer and see if it cranks... If it does then get yourself a new one or have that one rebuilt.

I think hes saying the starter isnt making contact with the flywheel...

Or, like somebody has already mentioned - is the problem that it's just not making contact with your flywheel?
