Default JDM B18c Swap into an EK Coupe. Help!!

Im in the process of buying a JDM B18c Swap. I plan on dropping it into a 99 civic ex coupe. I have some unanswered question. Would my factory harness work with the swap or do i need to buy another harness for it?
What else do i need to buy to swap it into my coupe?

no, a usdm b18c wiring harness will work. i dont know where your gettin this from or what all is included but other then the complete motor you will need, harness, shift linkage, ecu, axles and mounts. any usdm b18c "GSR" parts will work.

I brought b-series mount for the swap, will the mount brackets of the y8 work to mount the gsr? I also brought the odbII to obdI harness conversion. Someone told me that the harness should work since it is wired for vtech, but I would have to wire the disturbutor.

I brought the 2000 si rear mount bracket.

I have the ecu, shift linkage and axles, is they anything else I would need to change or get?

guess im not sure what exactly you mean by mount brackets. but if you got the b series mounts itll drop right in and bolt up. easy as that. the harness conversion will work also. i personally wouldnt want to do that because im not good with wiring.. but thats me. other then that no that is all you will need what i stated above.

if it is an obd2 motor, almost everything should just plug into your stock harness, you'll just have to wire some little ****.

DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS GUY....
a gsr a harness is two piece, 96-00 civics are one piece...

basicaly this is what i did, i took the gsr harness
off the motor, put my ex harness on, i DID NOT CUT ANYTHING.. please dont do that , instead just
see where you need more wire and just cut out the loom and pull the harness out to where you need it, its vere easy and when your finis it looks like a semi-wiretuck.. when your done with that just wire the iabs if you can use the search button y oull find out how easy it is, and on the dizzy i think on 99-00 no si civic the dizzy plug is small but theres a way to fix that too search man or just pm me.. thats pretty much it for wiring.

the brackets that youll need to change are the rear and the timing belt side bracket youll need 99-00 si braket (gsr's brackets are straight and use 3 boltsfor the mount) and for the tranny just use your stock manual single cam one they're all the same on ek's

you could use your ex alternator, or if you got the gsr harness you could swap over the plug.

both GSR and ITR JDM motors will read B18c there wont be any other diff except one will have a black valve cover and the other has a red valve cover.

are you getting the GSR motor or the ITR motor?
