looks pretty good

i'm curious as to why they took off the trim piece for the grill

i'd lose the rear lip, it looks like it's seen better days, maybe even get a new one. and it needs lowered more! Also, i'd ditch the tach....in the parking lot of the dealership...

UP FOR AUCION A NICE LOOKING AND GREAT RUNNING CONDITION 2000 HONDA CIVIV EX SI ENGINE BIG VTEC ENGINE. Last owner ordered the engine from Japan INSTALLED and has about 45K miles on it. The car runs fast and furious.HAS RACING SHOKS ...SUSPENSINO 800 DOLARS VALUE

^ that should be worth atleast a $1000 off the price hahahaha

my vote is get it

Its already been swapped with what looks like a b16. if anything goes wrong you might have some trouble figuring it out because you didn't do the swap and don't know how he doctored stuff up to make it start and run. Body and interior looks good though.

If you can get it for that price, i'd say do it. Any way you can take a look at the car before you purchase it? You could have yourself a decent project.

Upon a satisfactory thorough inspection and a very thorough test drive, it could be worth buying for under $3000. Do research on the new engine and other major parts to make sure there are no stolen or otherwise illegal parts on it or it could haunt the crap out of you. I personally would never buy a swapped car or a modified car for that matter as you have to assume it has been driven hard. I've seen the damage that burnouts and hard shifting can do, so if I bought a modified car from some Joe it would have to be thousands of dollars under the KBB value of the original car. Since the car you're looking at is priced very low it might be worth it. Still, I'd probably just put that kind of money down on a really clean, stock EG coupe.

How in the hell is that an Si clone?

'00 Civic EX coupe. Flamenco Black Pearl (which came on lots of trims, not just the Si), GSR engine swap (not a B16A2 - Si engine), non-Si coupe/hatch grille, unpainted sideskirts, stock dark grey interior, stock taillights, stock front end (though missing grille shell), front lip and rear lip, automatic cluster, monster tachometer and shift light, and to top it off, stock EX badging.

Btw, the OEM front and rear lips were optional on the '99-'00 Civics which were not Si models. The Si just had a standard front lip, though the rear lip was also optional for that trim too. Painted sideskirts were optional for all coupe models too.

Passenger door isn't sitting right. Needs a couple things, but if you get it checked out before you buy it, you should be fine. My guess is the price is going to go to atleast 5k, probably 6k. But I could be wrong. Time will tell

and that steering wheel is most definately NOT a Si leather wrapped one either. The rear lip is actually starting to melt. My roomates rear lip did that to him, bc his exhaust was a bit too short or something. But if you think about it......The swap itself is almost worth what price it is at for the moment.

Actually, its a gsr, the gsr is the only engine with the intake manifold shaped that way. Not trying to be a dick, just a fyi.

like other said it is a gsr
and it's at a dealership.
i bet they have at least a 6-7,000 price tag on that thing.

besides the melted lip and stolen grill it looks nice.

have you gone to drive it?
and see if it's lowered on stock shocks, cause thats what it looks like.

goodluck

For $3,000 it seems pretty good. It would of course need some work but the finding out how the motor and how good the swap was matters most. good luck

you could tell its a Gs-r motor by the upside down intake manifold. and the suspension..it looks like its not lowered at all. just on ugly wheels with lower profile tires than it should have because the wheel gap looks larger than stock.
buying a swapped car is always a pickle, because you never know what little bugs the motor has until you own it for a few days. so if you are local to the seller, go there and go with someone who knows their hondas inside out and have them drive it and drive it well.

It does look pretty good. I'm looking for a car myself. This one looks good but it's too far from me. Good luck with it.
