well i have been having a problem my car stalls when i try to start it it takes 3 or for cranks to turn over and when im at a light it idles roughly and some times when i am randomly driving it stallls is there any suggestiong on to what can be the problem i have a 99 hatch and only thing i have done to it is intake a and exhaust and headers thanks alot .

 

do you have any check engine lights to start off

 

Is your map sensor connected?

 

go through ignition. inspect everything thoroughly according to the haynes manual. is it time for maintenance? my car seen problems at red lights.. usta stall out there. couldn't figure out the problem then i would just rev it b4 i completely stopped and that fixed it. idle was okay for me. i think it went away after awhile.. car is on stands getting bottom and top end work!

 

any CEL lights. also did you check all your vaccum connections
