keep blowing fuse?
i put a pr4 ecu from a 91 ls into my hatch with the ls swap and it would crank but wont start...i check the fuse and it was blown....so i put my pm6 ecu on it and it started with putting a new fuse.....strange. Could it be that the ecu is bad? thanks for any info...by the way it is a 91 si hatch......
Do not put a 88-91 honda crx si ecu. The stock pm6 is for the d16a6 motor not the b18a1. And what fuse did you even check? Car would crank but would not start.... umm...check the ignition system all of it spark plug, the wires, ignition coil inside the distributor, check the rotor as well inside the dizzy....Ecu never go back unless you play with it with some solder and solder gun...yippeee..a snail...anyways pr4 is the right one.
i check everything so i replaced to fuse and it started with the pm6 then i turn it off and switch to the correct ecu for the swap engine and it instantly blew the fuse trying to start it right in front of me. well the fuse is located in the engine compartment and the fourth on down which is for the ecu i think. :
