when the gun flashing.... there 4 line... 3 close together n 1 far away... do i line it up with the 3 line.. or the 1 by itself?

my friend say line it with the 1 by itself... but i felt like the car dont have that much power... so i line it with the 3line (next to each other) n i felt much stronger... so i just wondering????

 

The line by itself is the TDC mark. You want to line it up with the middle of the 3 lines, which is base timing.
