Default 9CivicHatch3's Stock Type R with BPI and Rage/Hytech Copy Makes 186WHP

Yep, that is right...The air/fuel was needing alot of tuning, he was in the 14's full throttle done through a 60mm exhaust....gonna try and get him back on the dyno again soon with something to tune with

CONGRATS 9Civichatch3

Vtec should be set back about 400 to 500 rpm to smooth out the transistion.

Nice power

USDM or JDM type-r ?
What ecu / ems ?
Any camgears ?

Don't trust sniffers too much. You should throw a wideband in the header etc

Sounds about right for a JDM R motor :-)

With some cam gears & tuning you could make more mid-range power. I doubt you will see much power past 186 in peak numbers.

Sounds about right....more to come Shooting for 190 with some air/fuel tuning and a little timing. Timing everywhere is very conservative right now since this is just a base tune...Timing below the curve will hopefully make up for alot of that vtec dip....like i said, more to come so stay tuned

If you have any suggestions on making 200 with stock cams and head port, shoot em my way...I am gonna need all I can get
