ignition problem....help

Default ignition problem....help

ok..heres the thing... i just bought this hatch w/ messed up wiring egined harness cut up and ecu harness..now i swapped out the messed up one to uncut one...ok the problem before i even swap it out the car starts i just turn the key to on and press the clutch so practically when the key is on the On then i just press the clutch it starts..right..isn't usually normal turn on the car is. press the clutch then turn the ignition.. but for some reason its still the same after i swap the wire harness.. i dnt know whats goin on.. help out...about the ignition.

Works both ways for me, I can either hold the clutch and then turn the key all the way or turn the key all the way and then press on the clutch.

yea thats the normal way but mine..i just leavethe key to ON then press the clutch its starts... i dnt need to turn the key all the way..it starts either way.

You need to get a hold of a wiring diagram for the ignition system. for some reason your signal wire to your starter is getting power when the clutch is depressed, so it's cranking. It'll be a simple fix with the diagram.... without it you won't have any fun. I wouldn't even mess with it until you know where and how things are supposed to go. You can probably go to any shop and offer to give them 5 or 10 bucks for a print out of the diagram.

up...agian... havent got a chance to go to the shop and ****.. ne one else got any ideas
