Default Tighter v2p clearance?

I know some builders have built motors with tighter V2P clearances, but i want a bit more CR around 11.3-11.5 Will i be okay if i get a thinner H.G. and run IN 0.04" and EX 0.06" V2P clearances on a D.D. Also, what is the thickness of an OEM H.G. i've seen some compression calculators say .026" and some 0.029"

That's about as tight as you want to go. Why do you want more compression? 11.5 will work great on pump gas.

Yeah, I want around 11.3-11.5 CR, right now since im running a 0.08" H.G. according to clubcivicquebec compression calculator im at aroung 10.5 CR. I used such a thick H.G. cause head and block were milled and decked a total of .021" and pistons came out of the block deck around 0.008" W/ stock H.G. i had 0.01" IN and 0.03" EX V2P clearance, so i used a 0.08" to achieve 0.06" IN and 0.08" EX V2P clearances.
