Default Navi Screen all black in middle of driving 06 SI

So, I have an 06 SI with the navi and everything was working perfectly until i stopped for gas. I turned on the car and the screen was all black. I could still control some stuff via the steering wheel buttons, but the only buttons that work on the navi were the open and close buttons, however all of them were backlit. Any ideas on what could be the problem? I only have 19K miles on it, so hopefully this will be covered by the warranty. I've been searching on here and on google and haven't encountered the same problem with anyone. Thanks in advance for the help!

take it to and dealearship.

my guess would be that your connector going to the navi screen got disconnected. my friend had this happen to his navy...its was aftermarket though...and i believe thats what happened.

My '06 EX just started exhibiting the same problem as TOdoubleD133 explained. The car has to go back to the dealer for the factory recall anyway so as I get more details I'll add them here.

The next day it actually started working again and I haven't had any problems since. I opened it and jiggled the connector around a bit but it didnt work until I later turned on the car. I am definitely getting this checked out in the near future and will post my findings as well.
