Whether you choose the B or the H really shouldn't determine if you could still have a/c or not. Or at least it shouldn't.....

I'm pretty sure you need a custom bracket to run AC in an H swapped civic.

h swap is good but your axle will get fucked up quick... id go for b series. but with the H swap, you will make good power

With the older customized mounts, yes, if you buy regular AVID H series mounts or utilize an H2B setup they won't be.

i am puttin a h22 in a 92 vx hatch right now and the way i look at it is this....

a si or gsr swap vs a h22 swap money wise is pretty close IMO... BUT, 1.6l engine with 160hp or a 2.2l w/190-210hp...and yes i know the h22 is more work and believe me i do know..i am doing it now but i feel like the lil more work is worth the extra power and for me i wont be happy with a torqueless 1.6-8.... <--- im referring to leaving the engines basically stock. if you are b00stin just stay b series...but n/a h22 civic is what im doing.

B Series is overrated, H22 is so much worth it.
The only thing you need to worry about is mounts and axles, shift kit. Everything else is the same, I would rather run low 14s all day than low 15s with a b16!

Both the B and H are good motors. Depends on what you ultimately want out of the vehicle.
I'd rock the H2B. Tight tranny with lots of ontap power and torque, easier installation than a full H swap.

Compromise. Do an h2b setup.

h22 > itb'd b16.

You'll for a lot faster for less with the h22 with an n/a setup.
