I want to install my Skunk 2 short shifter myself. Does anyone know if you need to get under the car to install a short shifter into a 2000 Civic coupe? And if so, any advice or tips. Thanks

Jacks/jack stands or ramps work fine.

 

unless you know how to take off the shift linkage without getting under the car, then no you don't

 

Hey i just did my skunk two yesterday with a few of my friends you need a jack and at least two stands i have some links and you should get the bushing two, overall if you never did it its going to take awhile, but it dam fun here are the links hope it helps

The second one is for a 95 but it helps to understand what to do have fun
