You know, I actually found a link through another Honda board that had pictures of concept 5th gen Preludes. I don't have the link or remember it, sorry, but they had a picture of a convertible, wagon, and targa top Prelude. The targa top actually looked sweet, but it's not feasible...the convertible looked gay
i'm pretty sure those were photoshopped pictures..
there's pics of a convertible, targa top, and station wagon 5th gen lude floating around the net if i'm not mistaken.

They don't sell kits for that. I'm about 99% positive on this.
If you want a convertable, you would need to find a VERY RESPECTABLE shop. The bottom of the car will have to be beefed up, and I would run at least a partial roll cage for structural support, otherwise in a few years, the car is simply going to fall apart from flexing.
It can be done. You can do just about whatever the hell you want with enough cash.
I've actually devised a way to make an Integra a targa top... AND retain the sunroof on the center part. But there's no way I'm posting how to do it because it's something that's still in the works.

There is a BONE stock 4th gen on hondaprelude.com that has a convertable rag top, and it really looks good. I was surprised myself, but it has a very FACTORY look to it, the work is VERY amazing...

eeeww!
For a non factory convert, I thought it looked really good. (in a maner of speaking) and they made it a 2 seater.
I respect most all work that has had heart, soul, and blood poured into it. Though the style may not be mine, I appreciate fresh ideas.. or at least attempts at them.
There was a red 4th gen Convertible Prelude for sale in my area about 1.5 years ago. I only saw a picture of it but it looked pretty tight. If I remember correctly it was a US $9,000 '93 SR(Si) offered by a local dealer.
