itb air filters.. itb pros need help
I wouldn't go near those things. Its been pretty well established that filters like that really hurt airflow. Same thing with the sock type filters. Try these--or something similar--whatever width and depth would suit you:

You just have to drill the backing plate to match the opening of your throttle bodies. I would get the deepest filter that would fit without hitting the firewall or brake booster.

wow you're from Armonk... I haven't been up there in years. Just brings back memories... Let see if i remeber how to get there: Bx river to the Tappan Zee then get off the first exit...???
As for the itbs just get an air box... twm sells them, they work fine on my car.

From BK? I would take the BQE to the Tri-Boro, to 87 north (Deegan) to the Sprain--to Thornwood exit, then its a few local roads.....Although you could also take the Hutch, to 684 get off at exit 3 S--the "town" is right there.
What did you do in ARmonk?
There has been a few dyno sheets I have seen where it showed that the TWM airbox lost some peak power while possibly helping the midrange. I was looking into the TWM for my Weber DCOEs a while ago but I don't know if it will hurt or help....I run the Pipercross one piece foam filters I linked to before.

Mickey may be able to help you out with those.
I've been selling a lot of Outerwears lately, they are 25 micron and water repellant, @ $70/set of 4. I can have black, red, blue, purple, lime green and orange made up. lmk

I haven't had a customer do a before and after dyno test so, unfortunately, I do not have any facts on HP loss. According to Outerwears, the booties they make for us "maintain peak air flow".
The correct filter won't really present any loss--ITG or Pipercross. The ones shown on top of the page most likely will pose a restriction.
Its not so much the filtering area, but the fact they are sitting right on the radius of the trumpets which tends to upset the air flow into the trumpets.
