Just wanted to know what exatcly is different on the EK's between DX's and CX's other than the obvious outside differences like the rear window wiper, and the unpainted wing. Thanks

 

cx's had 13" steelies I believe also

 

some dx come w/ps. all the dxs i have seen have the rear package tray they also have rear speakers. i belive they may come with the colormatched wing but i am not entirely sure if that's stock or a dealer option

So in so many words...the DX doesnt have really anything special that the CX would need!

 

i kinda like my color matched rear wing on my DX

 

One of the most important thing to me was that the dx came with a magazine holder behind the passenger seat, and the cx did not. Without this most important option, I would have just bought a cx. Also cx didn't have black

 

DX comes with an inside trunk release lever

 

So did the CX. But this only came on 96-97 cars.

no, i dont think it would. A lot of the cars ive looked at dont, and by a lot i mean at least 85%.

 

it might because i own a 96 cd from texas and i see the power steering resevoir, of course its not hooked up, but honestly...it drive fine and better smooth with out power steering. Its not as bad as you woudl think. plus Dx also come with rear trunk cover, that foldable thing between the non existent rear speakers. I had to buy one extra form the honda dealer cause i wanted to cover up my trunk ya know!

i'm getting a 98 cx TODAY... (yay!)

and it basically has no options... no a/c, p/s, no painted rear spoiler, no hatch lid, no speakers at all... no radio... no rear wiper (which i really wanted!)... and its on steel (but i like that

it was some old guy's... i guess he wanted the cheapest he could get... its perfect and i'm getting it cheap, so i can't complain

i think the DX could have all of that, if you wanted it to. CX's could have a/c, as well.. and radios, etc.

i don't care about power steering, nor really the radio stuff because i would've replaced it (because all it would've been was a cassette player)... i just wanted a/c and the rear wiper as dumb as that is.
