b16a crx help please
okay i bought a motor swap and a crx shell from a kid i port charlette fl. the motor swap i bought was peviously in the crx but was taken out to be used in another car but never was so the crx was already wired for the b16 since it was aleady in it. i put the motor back in, the motor runs strong but for some reason v-tec engages at 3800 rpm's im runnin a pr3 ecu that came with the swap. for what reason should v-tec be engaging so low. any ideas why this is happening.oh and the ecu has never been chipped.

I think 5200 is near the stock engagement point.
BTW, how do you know it's engaging that early? Do you have a VTEC indicator wired up or something?
