My Build Thread + a question (What clutch are you mildly built ls/vtec guys using?)
I've searched and to no avail, so I posted a new topic. What clutch are you mildly built ls/vtec guys using?

GMB GSR/ITR Water pump (same company that manufactures waterpumps for Honda)
ARP Headstuds
ITR head:

Skunk2 Springs and Retainers
Ferrera Valves
What cluch should i get?

i got damn near the same exact setup im using a ctr head instead.
for now im gonna be running a 4puck clutch from one of our local clutch shops and
what they claim is an upgraded factory type pressure plate said they use stiffer i guess you say arms on it.
really depends on if you plan on daily driving it or not. Most people dont like a heavy clutch for daily driving. but with that setup its not overkill if you went with the stage 1
mines almost done block goes into the shop to get bored honed and hot tanked next week. id like to see how your motor comes out if you get it running befor mine. what cams are you running?
hit me up on aim sometime Skoodles2k6

yeah i'll hit you up.
For now the cams will be JDM ITR cams with skunk2 cam gears. this will be my daily driver too. I was thinking of getting a street disc. I'm checking out the exedy stage 1 or the LSD street disc setup. Not sure what to get yet though.

I have the same setup except for std. size p30 pistons and pro1 cams. I'm running the exedy stage 1 street clutch, and I'm lovin it. It slipped a little at about 100-150 miles but now after 1000 miles it doesn't slip a bit and feels like a stock clutch. I have absolutely no regrets.
