theory on injectors and spec b's.....
.....assuming right now you're leaning -45% to idle with spec b's and competely stock fuel delivery system. stock redline.
It follows that adding 290cc injectors will make you run too rich (b/c you can only subtract 50% max with a vafc), so your car will only die and not even run.
This is of course with stock fuel pressure and fuel pump...
Or am I missing something?

you really need 12:1 cr minimum to have Toda B's work:
if you calculate the dynamic compression of B's using intake valve closing ABDC, static CR, altitude, boost level, you will find that the dynamic CR , even with the static CR at 12:1, is only 10.4:1 assuming 600 ft altitude and no boost.
once your reach that level of static CR, the engine is begging for fuel. And as Greg Sumaroo said you use these giganto injectors so that you can fuel down or lean down to the level you need more precisely rather than cranking up to the fuel level you need.
those Toda B & C cams are no pretty picnic in the park....they need a lot of tuning and engine package support around them....buyer beware....

TodaSi: running 440cc injectors
28 mpg combined city/highway

Tuan, I appreciate your response however you don't know my setup.
Same goes for you Chad.
Steve, you took the time and effort to post up so at least post this information so others can understand as well. You know more than anyone that EVERY setup is different.....
et, al: No, I did not raise compression. Why? Well I want to see what I can get out of spec B's (and maybe spec C's) with the stock bottom end. This means I haven't even pulled the head and am running the stock head gasket.
Yeah, everybody and their mom says add more fuel (to an extreme)...
But they're ASSUMING I'll need to do that b/c they had to do that with their 11.5+:1 c/r... So far, I have had to LEAN out the a/f ratio by 1%-8% from 6200 to redline. Maybe it's because I'm running so much overlap...
Thanks for sharing guys, but nobody answered my question.
