Who has actually performed a stock b20 swap on a 96-00 civic? Favor needed.

Who has actually performed a stock b20 swap on a 96-00 civic? I need some specific info I couldn't find through a search.

I have a 99dx, with a 01 b20 motor, and it's using the Crv wiring harness.

1. Is it necessary to re-pin the connectors to use an obd2 LS 5speed ecu on a 99 civic dx, with the crv harness?

2. Was it a mistake to use the crv harness? Should I go back to the stock DX harness and add the knock sensor wire? What other wire do I need to add?

3. Were there differences in wiring between the first gen crv line (96-01?)?
4. Were there differences in wiring between the sixth gen civic DX line (96-00)?

I don't have much experience with wiring much of anything, yet alone an engine.
The guy that helped me with my swap isn't helping me anymore, for various reasons, and I cannot make sense of what he's done.

If anyone has the wiring diagrams I need, and will email me a clear scan, I will pay-pal them a few bucks for their time. I know I need to "just buy the damn helms," but I cannot afford the two I need right now.

Constructive info, comments ony, please. I've already gotten plently of flames for this situation.

Thanks.

You should have used your stock DX harness.

While using your stock harness...you will need a 99+ LS ecu...otherwise, you will have to repin the connectors.

Civic harnesses are different for different years. 96-98 same, then they changed for 99-01. I believe it is the same for integras.

Does your car even run? I have never seen a CRV harness, but I assume it won't work.

If you have the 01 crv harness, then you need the later integra ecu. If you have that, then the crv harness should work perfectly. It's the same as a civic harness, I believe. You've got the right stuff, just maybe the wrong ecu. I don't have manuals on the pinouts, sorry dude. I hope it works out alright for you, mine is a major *****, i've actually got a 97 b20 harness that i'm probably not gonna use, but I think i'll need it for a couple wires, knock sensor, crank position sensor, etc.

Good luck again.
