91 civic si with zc motor swap Noise when clutch is engaged ( new to forum )
I am new to mechanics and bought a project tonight to work on and get famillair with. It runs good the clutch feels kind of week to me from what people have told me but still drives fine, but when i press my food on the clutch down a sand grinding noise starts but when i disengage it there is no sound at all..... the guy i bought it from mentioned the throughout bearing can anyone help?????
yes it's your throwout bearing...it's a bitch because you have to take your transmission out, but after that it's like 30 secs to replace...

Yah meaning some people have told me that when you push the clutch in it should feel firm if the clutch is new, if it isn't or it's worn or damaged it will feel soft or easy to push in and wont engage as well as it should or as fast or hard as it should...
