Keep it stock? Silent but deadly. Plus won't attract attention to others like the cops.

X2, I love the way my car sounds now that Ive replaced the axleback part of my 5zigen exhaust with a stock axleback, and it didnt ruin my performance, I was still running consistent numbers at the track, same numbers, some better, then when I had the 5zigen axleback.

Those are all the good stock mufflers . But if you want to go aftermarket, I'd say go RS*R ExMag for an awesome stock looking/quiet performance exhaust or a Apexi WS2 painted flat black.

Apexi actually makes a flat back muffler...it's based on the WS2, I think it's called the "Apexi Noir" or something like that.

Anything with a straight through sesign with 2.25" inlet or bigger.

Though a $500 header will make a LOT more power (in comparison) than a $500 muffler/piping.

dude go greddy sp2

after having a loud exhaust or even a quite one this is the perfect thing imo

not too loud when crusing and even when you drop it into second to beat the camaro next to you its loud enough to let him know he's gonna lose but not so loud you go deaf

also it doesn't have a rice sound to it like cheap exhausts

apexi ws2 is good though

Muffler does keep it quite but the resonator also is going to help out a ton.

Mugen Twinloop on the EM1 (near-stock quiet until it's at WOT)

2.25" stainless piping to stock peashooter axleback on the beater. (about as loud as the EM1 setup)

I'm curious about those ebay twinloop knockoffs, but on the other hand, I like the anonymity of the stock peashooter exhaust. If I got the ebay twinloop, it'd paint it flat black, anyway...

Thanks for all the advice.
I'm am a college student on a budget. considering that and my setup...

h22, blox b cams, 68mm tb, port matched im, camp1320 header, 2.5 obx exhaust.

what would be the best muffler for me without all the racket bc I'm sick of my loud *** exhaust.

Well, I guess the above answers weren't enough for you...

Here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

Then get a muffler shop to turn it into an axleback. The whole thing can probably be done for around $200 including the muffler.

I'm rockin' an Invidia N1, on a D16Y7 stock piping.

It's not "Quiet" but its got a nice tone to it

Appreciate the link.
Is it just me or is this a sketchy buy. I know I said I was on a budget but seriously... is anyone using this or know anything about this no name knock off muffler?
