dc5 recaros fit ek?
Not sure on the price, but yes they can be put into any 92-00 civic, simply by using your year civics' seat rails. Some modifications are required in order to make them fit to the rails ( can be done outside of car) but once that is done, they will just go in.

(This is in an EG hatchback...but there shouldn't be too much difference)
Either custom rails or modifying the EP3 rails. I modified the EP3 rails...the rear 2 bolts line up (with a little bit of force
, but they do line up with the stock holes), the front 2 are a different story.

Me and my buddy cut the front brackets off, then bolted the brackets to the floor. I then took a hammer (quite literally) and beat them down flat so that they'd line up with the seat rails. He then tack welded them...we took them out, and welded them all the way around.

People say that the welds don't look safe...in reality, the welds are stronger than the metal pieces you weld together.

This is incorrect. The Recaros don't use the stock rails.
To OP, you need OEM Recaros rails from a 96-00 Civic Type-R or Vision one-touch sliders for a 96-00 Civic. I bought a mint set of red DC5R Recaros for like $900
