Okay, I'm doing a retrofit right now on my JDM eg headlights (plastic) and having a little problem. Anyway I'm trying to remove the reflector but the two adjusting screws and one bolt are holding it in. How the hell to I remove these things. Been trying since yesterday. Also I'm using Infiniti FX45 projectors with the self leveling mechanism, has anyone got this to work in there retrofit? Thanks in advance.
show pics, on my ek since i was blackhousing i just put mines in the oven and heated them for 15 minutes at 200 degrees then i forced them open with a screw driver but the caulk was annoying as hell so if thats what you looking to do then
STEP 1
-remove headlights from car
-pre heat oven at 200
- still headlight in for 15 minutes on bake
- then you pry open with screw driver
- more baking time may be needed, since caulk is ANNOYING

I already got the lens off. That was the easy part. I can't figure out how to remove the reflector because it's held into the base by the adjusting screws. Anybody know?
It's held by two screws on the bottom of the shield. Just take them off. If you stripped the screw, use a lock-in plier and turn it counter-clockwise.
hey if you guys do a retrofit do you guys have to make your own wiring harness or could you get a plug in play kit? say if you went with s2000 projectors in an eg and you wanted to use a nice hid kit. You would have to make a harness wouldnt you?
Who are you asking? This thread is almost 4 years old.
