ok i got spark,compression and the timeing is good but still no start i've been trying for like 2 weeks now and still no luck i dont know how many times i have retimed this damn thing so just asking the experts and see wat you guys say???thnx ahead of time h-t

 

code 8 is the TDC sensor. Check and see if its plugged in. Its under or near the distributor if i remember.

 

isnt it in the dizzy on singles

 

No I checked the service manual 6-32. Its a plug just below almost hidden by the distributor.

 

i checked and there was 2 plugs the small one wasnt plugged in so i plugged it in and still same code reset ecu also...and still no start i just dont know wats wrong with this damn thing its driving me crazy

its ur dizzy..check for spark...

 

i do have spark i have everythink that it needs to start but it doesnt...the dizzy i have is of a d16z1 but it had the dx plugs on it and the blu/yel and blu/grn wire thats on the si plug so im thinking its off timing by the dizzy thats y its not starting since its a obd1 dizzy

 

What code is d16z1 ecu?

 

idk what ecu runs the d16z1 my homie had a p28 running it but will that dizzy throw the timing off on the dizzy or wat or should my car still start

 

so can i use this distributor or will it throw the distributor timing off so bad it wont start

can it be my main relay cuz sometimes when i turn the key to the on position it will make a buzzing noise until i turn the car over

 

buzzing like a priming fuel pump? ddid u check for fuel?

 

yea i got fuel but its not that kind of buzzing i know wat fuel priming sounds like..its like a real loud buzzing coming from the main relay

 

use an know good obd0 dizzy...the zi dizzy haslike a weird angle as apossed to the 0bd0

 

ive been trying to find one but its like impossible where i live and they are like 300 dollars and im low on money right now...no job..do you have on i can buy off of you
