Default 96 civic dx low-fuel light? Cluster swap.

Hey, I'm swapping out my gauge cluster from my dx to an lx, so I can have a tach. Does anyone know what I would have to do to make the low fuel light operate? Thanks.

-Nick.

Also, does anyone know where there is a diagram of the cluster removal?

It should still operate by swapping clusters, I know it worked on my old DX cluster in my Sedan.

So my DX sedan is supposed to have a low-fuel light? Mine has the place for one, but it never lights up. Is it pre-wired on the DX, like the tach?

Were you the first owner? I was on my Sedan and it would light up when I was low on gas so I would say it is pre-wired for it. Just like the DX sedan has no tach but if you put in an EX cluster with a tach it will function.
