Default hey can any1 help me with a tranny question?

hello i got a 1991 acura integra ls an my tranny broke so i bought a 1998 gs tranny to put in it thinking that all i was gonna hav to do is buy a conversion kit cable to hydro for it,so i went to ask a shop an they told me im goin to have to buy a clutch kit for it also cause the splins dont match up an the shaft is different on the tranny plus i need a mount. so i got another opinion from another shop and they told me i dont need a clutch kit and the tranny is gonna fit fine and the splines will match up but they are gonna convert it a different way not using a cable to hydro kit they are gonna jus put in a new slay clinder and new lines an mounts so it can be all hydro instead of using the kit.so idk im kinda lost and iv been doin alot of research my car is a 1991 integra would it be better if i jus got a cable tranny an stick with that knowing it would be cheaper, and is there a major difference between hydro and cable, dose it matter if the engine is not stock will a hydro hold up better then a cable in a performance engine??? well hopefully some one can help me cus im kinda lost thx ill b reading

if u already have the 98 tranny, all u need is the conversion kit and a hydro clutch which is any 94- and up clutch. Your clutch right now (cable) will not line up with splines.
im pretty sure everything else like the half shaft will bolt.
