hey i recently got a fix it ticket for my greddy evo 2 exhaust and they told me to fix it. i was wondering if anyone knew where the state refee so i can take a sound test and pass because i know that i could pass because i know it's street legal.

There's a CHP station behind ELAC off of Floral or there's one up at Rio Hondo. Here I posted this on my site for this purpose lol

Oh the Site I posted so that people with fix it tickets can check for the EO numbers and show the cops when fixing the ticket.

As far as check/ref stations, there's one behind East LA College, I believe it's off of Floral and there's another State Ref at Rio Hondo College in the back where they teach autoshop

yes sir 95 db in california, any one know of an exhaust that might be under that.

Stock or a Type-R exhaust...... or maybe even a Mugen Twin Loop.

 

The RS-R ExMag is really quiet and stock looking, though I don't know why the new ones opted for the non black coating.

I figured the Greddy would be lower than 95 DB's, well i suggest getting a resonator and then taking it to the ref stations.

Hell yeah, that's who popped me for my exhaust, was the gayest thing ever, then Alhambra got me for no front plate. Got both written off by a buddy and still rollin

Throw a silencer on it and get it tested

 

take it to fullerton jc refrees they're the nicest people.

cops suck! same thing just happened to me- time for a new exhaust anyways-
the CF cannon is getting TOO LOUD!
