How to clean the road grime from fairings?
I'm in the process of de-stickerizing my black 600RR and I'm having trouble getting some road grime off. The normal dirt came off fine but there is some baked-on grime on the lower-inside part of the mid fairing that I can't seem to remove. I used a fair amount of Turtle Wax brand "Bug & Tar" remover, but it took forever to get the smallest bit off.
Anyone come across this problem before and found a good way to get it off?

there is a brand of degreaser that they sell at bike stores that is safe for plastics and comes in an aerosol can.
I dont have it with me, so I cant give you the name, but it works very well, and should be available at any bike store.

Yes don't get it on headlights or tail lights though.

WD40 wont do jack to paint, except make it shiny. The problem with WD40 is it picks up dust like a ****.
