So i created an earlier post asking questions about my friend and i swapping transmissions. Both are 5th gen non sh preludes, my buddies is the manual and mine is the automatic. His girlfriend is getting his car and luckily for me she cant drive stick so we are swapping. Now i know i can convert my automatic ecu to manual specs via moving transistors on the ecu. A member jim truett was referenced to me by another member about this but i dont have the ability to pm yet....noob. My question is can my friend convert his manual ecu to automatic specs by moving the transistors the opposite way? Please let me know if anyone has done this or knows if this is possible. Thanks!
