My car won't start when it is hot outside. Sometimes it will turn on and act like it's going to stay on and just turn off after about 3 seconds. It actually will turn on, but that's only after sitting there for an hour turning the key. Any ideas?

 

There's a possibility that your main relay is going bad.
There's a member here that had put his car's main relay on the refrigerator and then put back on the car... he said the main relay worked for another month after that.
