I've been contemplating a transmission swap on my car, good, bad indifferent? I have a friend that can do it for like $500-$800

It can be both good and bad.

The bad would be all the labor, and the chance of so many little things going wrong. Probably better off just buying a manual.

The good, you have a 5 spd lol.

Have you tried seeing any tranny shops that sell or do rebuilds on auto transmissions? That might be something indifferent to see an auto Accord making power and moving fast haha
