Default new car? or keep it

i got a little problem. i'm going 2 a college where i can take my car, and swap the engine out, and do all my own body work, with someone there to make sure i don't screw up. anyways, i'm debating whether or not to keep my 95 Accord Ex, which needs a new paint job, and some bondo, and the odometer is buster.

my ? is, should i keep it and put a H22 or F20, new trany either too. Also do my own body work? is it gonna b worth all the time, or do u think i should look at another car, i wanna stay Jap. tho

lmk what ya think

kept and swapped

I just went through that though mine was in better condition.

As to body work if it's easily replaced stuff, just buy new , non OEM stuff and worry about paint later.

New cluster = $50
Body work = $???

since you're going through college [if you have any money to begin with] you're going to want something reliable.. i would buy something newer.

not unless u can pry it from a junkie's hands.

cluster for accords on ebay usually start a 65, and that's not with buy it now. cheapest route would be a CL cluster. people tend not to go apeshit over them. as for a junkyard (which i believe tmm was referring to) they're usually always gone by the time you go to grab one.

keep your car and swap. it's an ex homeboy you cant go wrong, i would knock doors down for a cd7 ex right about now.

it's personal preference. what may be worth to some people may not be worth to others. it's something you are going to have to decide for yourself.
