ok i jus got an s2k leather wrapped shift **** now i need to remove the stock 1....im guessing i jus need to twist it till it pops off, but im not 100% sure i wanna ask b4 i mite brake it by mistake

 

technically no. you can pull the clip off from the shift boot do the ****. It's just held in by the shift **** with clips. You wont brake it unless you do something stupid. so just pull the shift boot off first then twist off.

 

Grab the collar of the shift boot and pull straight down. Then twist the **** counterclockwise to remove it.
