You might have broken a coolant hose in the engine bay. Whenever I've blown a coolant hose (or the engine) i get smoke in the area where I sit.

You may have a small short in a wire causing a lil electrical fire as well.

Have you put your head underneath to see where the smoke is comming from other than "vents"?

It's actually quite simple, smoke coming from the vents means it's coming from the engine bay, cause that's where it takes the air from coming into the vents. Check under the engine bay for any kind of smoke while the car is running.

You already know what's wrong. It's obviously your heater core. When you put it in, you cannot bend, or move the in & out passage ways. They are very fragile and will break easily.

what are the chances of the heater core being bad after a month of getting it replaced?? i mean it completely stopped leaking ... now it's leaking again?? i don't get it?!

Could be a hose, or a clamp that's not clamping down hard enough and causing a leak. Check and see if u can find where exactly the leak is coming from.

well the thing is i wasn't the one who replaced it ... so i think if i go back to the same person who replaced it he's probably gonna charge the same amount because isn't it the same exact process? i was wondering will i be able to locate a leak if i just remove the glove box?
