Default More On Unknown Rattle

I posted a while ago about a rattle and got some dead end answers. I have some more clues to help you master minds to solve this problem. D15A7: The rattle is on the front of my engine. The timing belt side, and possibly low but not sure because i'm driving when it happens. It seems to show up when my RPM's get low, such as a late downshift, and so on. Seems to happen when my car leans hard to the left, as in taking a hard right, but that could just be irrelevent. When the rattle shows up I usually get a puff of oil burn smoke to spew out. anything will be a great help.

if something fell down there, he will not be able to drive his car because he will not have an engine.

not to familiar with your problem but it's a shot in the dark. when was the last time you had a valve adjustment? how many miles does the car have?

I could be completely wrong, but check various heat sheilds under your car. A little while ago, i got this rattle only at low rpms, turned out it was the heat sheild to the muffler (stock). A little peice of wood fixed that problem

yeah, if you never had a valve adjustment in 160,000. then it might be time for one, and might be the source of your problem.
