Are you talking about the bumps on the front of the headlight? The 4th gen headlights are made out of pure glass. The bumps are there cuz thats how they pull it out of the mold. Plastic headlights dont have them. Are the JDM headlights made out of plastic?

If the JDM headligths are made out of PLASTIC then they wont have it, it doesnt have to be lifted out of a mold. The 4th gen OEM headlight is made out of GLASS. And if it's glass, that is the only way to lift it out of the mold.

Are you still talking about the bumps??? Read the above post, its there cuz that's how they remove the glass from the mold. That's the mark it leaves behind after they take it out of the mold.

As far as what kind of glass. Dont know dont care it's glass why would it matter.
